For more than three decades, Ipas has worked to end deaths and injuries from unsafe abortion. We train health-care providers to improve health services, promote appropriate reproductive-health technologies and work with policymakers and advocates to improve health policies and practices. We are the only organization working on five continents - with multidisciplinary staff in 13 countries - dedicated entirely to ending unsafe abortion.

Ipas experts are available for media interviews by contacting Kirsten Sherk, 919.960.5612.
