Fabiola Mizero has over a decade of experience in social justice and organizational development across Africa and internationally. She joined Ipas Francophone Africa as Regional Director in 2024. Prior to that, she led gender-transformative programs in West and Central Africa at Plan International and advised governments on gender policies.

Earlier in her career, she held senior leadership roles at Girls Action Foundation and the Center for Community Organizations, where she specialized in fundraising, finance, and capacity building. She later founded her own consulting firm, where she worked with organizations such as UNESCO, Care International, the Global Fund for Women, Digital Freedom Fund, and ISDAO to strengthen feminist governance, power-sharing, and equity strategies.

Beyond programmatic work, Mizero is dedicated to feminist leadership and movement building. She co-founded the West and Central African Feminist Summer University and has worked to amplify African feminist narratives in media such as the Huffington Post and ELLE magazine. She was also a spokesperson for the International Organization for Migration’s “Migrants Have a Message” campaign, advocating for gender-inclusive migration policies.

Fabiola has received multiple awards for her commitment to social justice, including the Prix Francophonie 35-35.
