Erick Mundia is a human rights lawyer and policy leader dedicated to advancing reproductive justice and protecting the right of every person to access safe, high-quality sexual and reproductive health care. As policy and advocacy manager at Ipas Africa Alliance, he works to strengthen laws, policies, and systems that uphold gender equality and expand access to care across the region.Â
An advocate of the High Court of Kenya, Erick brings more than 10 years of experience in human rights, with a focus on sexual and reproductive health and rights, gender equality, and good governance. He has led policy development and advocacy efforts at national, regional, and international levels, using evidence and human rights standards to influence legal and policy frameworks.Â
 Erick is known for his collaborative approach to movement building and his commitment to strengthening partners’ capacity to engage effectively with decision-makers and accountability systems. Through facilitation, training, and strategic partnerships, he supports organizations and networks to drive sustainable change that centers dignity, equity, and access to care.Â
He is passionate about applying public policy research and human rights–based approaches to ensure that laws and policies advance and protect reproductive justice. Â
