Chalumba Mutengo is a program and monitoring & evaluation (M&E) specialist with over seven years of progressive experience managing and delivering complex, multi-country development initiatives. He currently serves as the Interim Co-Director and Regional Programme Manager for Ipas Africa Southern Region, where he is also the lead for monitoring, evaluation, research, learning, and adaptation. In his role with Ipas, he leads cross-functional teams across Malawi, South Africa, and Zambia, advancing work in health systems strengthening, community engagement, and policy advocacy.

Mutengo’s academic background includes a Master of Science in Project Management (with Distinction) and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, both from the University of Zambia.
