Plazas is an experienced financial executive with a background in accounting, fiscal management and business administration. He is the chief operating officer of Planned Parenthood of Maryland (PPM), which provides reproductive health services at seven health centers throughout Maryland, and previously served as vice president of finance for PPM. A member of the Baltimore Convention and Tourism Board, he also serves on the board of Baltimore Community Lending.
