Dr. Shibesh Chandra Regmi has more than 30 years’ experience managing and coordinating programs for national, regional and international organizations. Before joining Ipas, he was Acting Chief of Party for CAMRIS, a major USAID-funded monitoring, evaluation and learning project in Nepal. He has also previously served as a regional leader for World Neighbors, as Country Director for ActionAid Nepal, and currently serves as chair of Nepal’s Association of International NGOs (AIN). Dr. Regmi has led several gender initiatives, including ones for Save the Children, Department for International Development (DFID)- Ministry of Women, Children and Social Welfare and National Women’s Commission of the Government of Nepal- and the United Nations Population Fund. He earned his doctorate degree in gender and development studies from the University of Southampton, UK, and also holds an MS in social development from Ateneo de Manila University, Philippines, and a master’s degree in business administration from the Institute of Management, TU/Nepal.
