Ipas works globally to improve access to safe abortion and contraception so that every woman and girl can determine her own future. Across Africa, Asia and Latin America, we work with partners to make safe abortion and contraception widely available, to connect women with vital information so they can access safe services, and to advocate for safe, legal abortion. We employ more than 400 diverse professionals across program offices in Africa, Asia and Latin America and in our headquarters in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Our employees embody a wealth of varied professional and academic experiences, and many staff members are highly regarded contributors to their specific fields of research and reproductive health work. In our Chapel Hill headquarters, employees hail from across the United States and around the world. In each of our country program offices, the staff consists entirely of local professionals. But no matter where in the world Ipas employees work, their passion and commitment to Ipas's mission unites them.
At Ipas, we believe that our employees are our most important asset—and they know it's true. Ipas employees enjoy a friendly, flexible work environment that fosters a strong sense of community. We routinely celebrate long-term staff members' 10- or even 20-year anniversaries with the organization. Lunch-and-learn activities, wellness initiatives and holiday celebrations are just some of the many ways employees come together to have fun and strengthen relationships.
