Country Director, Sierra Leone
Tania Sheriff is the Country Director for Ipas Sierra Leone. She has more than 15 years’ experience in program management, project development, fundraising and advocacy. Prior to joining Ipas, she was Executive Director of the Rainbo Initiative in Sierra Leone, which works in partnership with government and nongovernmental organizations to provide free support and care to victims of rape and sexual abuse. Ms. Sheriff also has served as HIV/AIDS program manager with the Odorna Clinic in Accra, Ghana, and policy assistant with The Big Lottery Fund, which distributes grants to community groups and charitable organizations across the UK. She has a BA in modern languages and an MA in gender, anthropology and development from Goldsmiths College, University of London.
