Clemence Langa

Country Director

Ipas’s work in Mozambique is led by Clemence Langa, a public health professional with more than 20 years’ experience in humanitarian and rural development. A human rights activist, much of his work has focused on improving the lives of women, youth, children and other vulnerable groups. He has extensive program leadership experience, gained from working with agencies including ActionAid International, Oxfam Australia, the Lutheran World Federation and the Mozambique Red Cross. Mr. Langa has a master’s degree in Rural Sociology and Development Management, and is working toward a PhD in Rural Sociology.
