From July to September 2000, Ipas Ethiopia collaborated with the Regional Health Bureaus in Ethiopia to conduct a cross-sectional PAC assessment in three regions: Oromia, Amhara and Addis Ababa. The main objective was to determine the current and future potential capacity and quality of postabortion care service delivery in public hospitals and health centers. The report includes a discussion of the study methodology, key findings of the assessment team and recommendations for action.
