Medication abortion (MA) can play a vital role in reducing unsafe abortions; however, MA services in India are being provided in an unorganized fashion and are usually limited to urban areas. Working with FOGSI, Ipas initiated “MAPnet,” a network of private doctors who would offer quality MA services. This 20 page document discusses the first wave of enrollment in this effort, as well as the results of a follow-up assessment of all network members.
