2009

In community action and mobilization around the issues of maternal mortality and unsafe abortion, men are rarely included as a specific target audience or as collaborative partners. However, experience suggests that men can be approached successfully about these issues. This working paper focuses on men who may directly facilitate and support or, alternatively, oppose and impede a woman‘s access to abortion care. It concludes by suggesting elements for an action framework for work related to men and abortion.
