Kampala — CATHOLICS forbid it, the African culture is against it, while the law in Uganda says it is murder. But this all pales in comparison to the Uganda Demographic and Health Survey (UDHS) 2006 report which says there are 297,000 abortions induced annually, while an estimated 65,000 women experience complications, but receive no treatment.
